I worked for Disney for a very long time I can say that the island is very creepy and it does have a secret. Underneath the old building is a series of tunnels and bunkers where Disney keeps it bioresearch division. Main project: Cloning Gargoyles

Idk why they don’t just repurpose the island. Make it a hotel or add some rides there as an expansion of magic kingdom. Maybe even some underwater rides and experiences were u can see fish and stuff it would be awesome
