Disney theme parks are the happiest, most magical places on Earth. But they didn’t get that way by accident. A lot of work goes into preserving the magic. This includes the hiring process and employee guidelines. Not just anyone can walk in off the street and become a Disney princess. And it takes more skill than you think to wear one of those furry costumes.

In fact, Disney theme park cast members undergo rigorous auditions and training to be sure they are presenting the guests with the cream of the crop in entertainment and fun. We found some of the most ridiculous requirements for Disney cast members. Let’s just say some of these are pretty intense. There’s also a secret code that cast members use when communicating. 1. You are not allowed to say I don't know. You have to find a way to answer a question.
2. No tattoos allowed.
3. You always have to smile.
4. You must do training to get dancing/acting/accents right and have professional makeup/hair done.
5. No smoking, chewing gum, pointing, or breaking character.
6. You must undertake a 1-6 hour audition process.
7. You are required to watch your character in movies and practice their character. You must also learn a signature for your character.
8. You must pick up any trash you see on the ground, doing a graceful 'scoop and swoop' motion.
9. No talking about pop-culture or referencing it.
10. You must use secret codes. You are not allowed to say 'I play this character' you must say 'I am friends with this character'. You must say 'Code V' when a kid throws up. You must say 'we have a lost parent' when a kid is lost. You must say 'Have a Disney Day' when someone is being rude.

Princesses are not put in a makeup chair. They need to do their makeup and stuff all by theirselves. So you need to also be good at makeup if you want to look like the princess you're hanging out with that day.
