Daniel from this video checking in happy to report I'm doing well kenzie is 12 and she's beautiful I am with her everyday I feel grateful I wake up happy, I pray for all those who are struggling, my advice is give yourself a chance you are worth it you are loved, and I know it can be easily dismissed during those dark times but you ARE worth it find a way back and believe me when I tell you that we do get better

A young man once had an alcohol addiction. He went to clinical rehab at Christmas 21 and in summer 22 he went to rehab for 90 days. He relapsed two times, but now he's sober since last fall. He is just 19 and I'm proud of him-my son.❤️

I feel so bad for addicts. They are constantly in this battle of who they want to be and who they are. Its devastating

6 years ago i found out i was pregnant so i started looking for a program for myself . unfortunately no program would take me because of my insurance or because of me being pregnant saying when your pregnant you can't detox . i didn't know what else to do so i called dyfus. as scared as i was i knew they'd be able to help me and they did . in less than a week i was in a program and i am now 6 and a half years clean my baby boy is 6 years old and didn't have to stay in a hospital with withdrawals . i thank God everyday

This was a rough one. When they asked Him if he wanted to be off of heroin and he said No. I felt that. That depression and sadness was Deep....

Half way through I was thinking "what a tragic waste of life" but by the end you're reminded that there is always a way back if you're strong enough. So happy for them all.

I'm glad to hear his wife got help too. The minute I saw her I thought she definitely was struggling with something due to her small size. Then to find out she had an eating disorder and a chemical dependency. I am very glad she got the help she needs too. It's nearly impossible to have a healthy family unit when one is still sick. Congrats to all of them. That's a lucky little girl

Every time I watch one of these, I cry. I've been there, and I just celebrated 3 years sober as of Yesterday!! It's not easy, but I feel a heck of a lot better than spending everyday looking for more pills.

Daniel looked AMAZING sober 😮🎉❤ my moms been sober for almost 2 years after having a relapse- and as the child of an addict I can agree that having my REAL mom back, is one of the proudest moments that I am grateful for daily.

When I was 36 I got serious about getting straight. I thank God every day for teaching me how to live life.

It feels good to know people do make it out of this alive, and become better people for it. I have just over a year clean off fentanyl/heroin minus a couple slips, and my daughter and wife are what keeps me going. If you cant get clean for yourself, do it for the ones you love and who love you.

I knew something was up with Renee. She gave into his addiction so easily to provide it to him.. she got the whole addiction thing. She had her own issue. Makes sense now. God bless them all.
