I grew up best friends with kayne and he is doing real good now and so is kyle. Kyle and kayne are both clean now kyle actually helps run a NA meeting and works has a house last time i heard and kayne works and is a home owner and is doing good as well they both really turned it around.

Amy is the key factor in this story, she disabled him and brought the hard drugs into his life and more than likely she’s still using drugs herself

I can’t help but wonder if Amy is actually clean? And if she is, was she trying to sabotage him so she could have the kids to herself? 99 days sober, but testing positive after she visited just seems so suspicious and sad :( I hope he’s been able to get help since this has aired :(

I kinda wondered if she was really clean herself (I'm a former addict, almost 9 years clean). She definitely wasn't & brought him drugs. She had the nerve to say that their wonderful happy family was ruined/changed due to HIS addiction, as if she hadn't had any part before she falsey claimed she got clean. He needs to get away from her!

Unfortunately, his father passed away in December of 2021 as well.. Kayne was arrested again in January of 2023. He’s lost both of his parents, and his kids… I hope he’s okay.

I work as an alcohol and drug therapist. I can't tell you how familiar this story is. Once alcoholism and drug addiction set in, an addict or alcoholic will choose booze or drugs over anything. ANYTHING. It's hard to understand if you have not seen addiction or alcoholism in real life for yourself.
I hope Kayne gets the help he needs someday.
I also wish this addressed how Kayne's Mother died.

Wait, I'm confused. Amy, the ex-wife who got clean to get custody of the kids, visited Kayne after treatment and then he tested positive? Is it implying that she gave him drugs? Like, intentionally? To help him relapse? But why?
