An Overview of Women's Issues in Northeast Asia

This short video lecture is meant to introduce students to some broad ideas to be explored more through readings and in class discussion and activities. I found it almost impossible within 7 minutes to introduce gender issues in contemporary Northeast Asia, so any specifics on Korea are left for a supplementary video that I had previously made. Students in EALC 110 are *not* required to watch that video (linked at the end) nor will it be included in the quiz questions.
