Making a major move happen that benefits both franchises is the key for any trade to work. And according to multiple NBA insiders, they are pushing for Brooklyn and New York to make a major trade that sends Mikal Bridges to the Knicks and key players plus multiple draft picks to the Nets… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

I HIGHLY doubt this happens. The Nets already turned down their OWN picks and Jalen Green from Houston. OKC has more picks to trade than us as well. I find it extremely hard to believe that they sit down with their conference, divisional, AND crosstown Rivals to send their top asset there. Smart move for Marks is to engage OKC who will take him in a heartbeat and give up copius picks as Mikal makes them a blatantly obvious Top 2 team in the West. You don’t send your best guy across town. You send them to the other conference. Only way this happens is Mikal begs to come here and has naked pictures of the Owner and Marks to bribe them with. This shit is not happening.

In my opinion, Bridges is a better fit for this team than Spida. Defensively he's way better and offensively he can and will score with Brunson leading the way. A 6-6, 209lb shooting guard/small forward would make the lineup better and move Donte to the 2nd unit to strengthen the bench with Deuce in the backcourt.

Honestly, Bojan, Mitch and 2/3 Firsts is the most i would give up. The offense is so much smoother with IHart and his defense is just as good as Mitch's. Brunson, Mikal, OG, Julius, IHart with Donte 6M is actually an elite lineup of 3andD, paint scoring, and interior defense.

I think Mikal is just as good as Booker. They were teammates for a while and watching mikal play.. you can see glimpses of bookers bag and ultimately Kobe’s bag cause booker was mentored by Kobe. What can’t Mikal do? the guy can shoot threes .. off the catch and off the dribble, his midrange game is so smooth, he can shot create, hit difficult shots, fades etc, he can be a secondary ball handler/playmaker and pass the ball, and he can be the best defender on the team.. (perimeter). I think he’s tanking his stats a little to lower his value, and ultimately come play for the knicks. If he is added to the Knicks roster without moving any big pieces.. he can and will be the 2nd scoring option and will help Brunson carry the team to the Finals, along side Randle. He’s an absolute game changer on the both ends of the floor. I’ve even heard rumors that Celtics want him for Jaylen Brown. That’s how good he is.
