Damn. Can we please drop the Mikal conversation. I really don't see how he fits whatsoever with this new constructed lineup. The only 3 people I see on the trade block this offseason are Randle, Robinson, and Bojan. Plus Nets have no desire to make any deals with the Knicks. Idk why we keep talking about this.

Mikal Bidges and Halibuten BOTH should have been on the Knicks . Instead they got Kevin Knox and Obi Toppin.

Mikal Bridges - DONE!!!! I've said it before - the Knicks should NOT use all it's assets, i.e. first round picks on superstars over 30 years old and past their prime. Mikal is 27, plays both sides of the ball and comes from Villanova [can we say CHEMISTRY together] plus he comes from the East Coast, PHILLY, which means he's TOUGH. To heck with crosstown rivals not doing business with each other. The Nets and Knicks should approach this as a win-win for both teams and making NYC the basketball mecca that it should be for the next decade. I'm tire of LA and the other West Coast teams. Let's get this DONE - GO

Let's just go with what we have now. Tired of the Knicks chasing star rumors. We already have 2 stars and a deep bench since the trade.

I think Leon rose is quietly building around Brunson it’s obvious that 4th Villanova missing infinity stone is across the pond in Brooklyn I’m sure his main target is still Donovan Mitchell but if nothing budges it’s definitely Mikal bridges who turns 28 in August

The nets are playing a poker face because I’m sure they want to start a bidding war in the summer

I absolutely agree that the Knicks should trade for Mikal Bridges. But doesn't the team have tons of first round draft picks? Why do they have to go for just one guy? What about going for at least 2 of these guys as well: Lauri Markannen, Dejounte Murray, Myles Turner, Keldon Johnson, Kyle Kuzma or Caris LeVert. These guys are young and can get out in transition, help speed up the pace, pass and defend. I don't see any superstars that are in a bad situation which would convince them to ask for a trade.

The Knicks can win without one though. Remember the Detroit Pistons from the past with Chauncey Billups, Rip Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace. The only difference is that Julius Randle is more like Zach Randolph than Rip Hamilton. Just like the Pistons, the Knicks have 2 all stars in Brunson & Randle. But they also have a lot of tough centers and a bunch of quick athletic guards. All the team has to do is grab at least 2 of the guys above along with Mikal Bridges and they have a chance of getting to the Finals without a superstar. Randle is getting triple doubles while both OG Anunoby's and Jalen Brunson's scoring increased.

Jaylen Branson continues to solidify himself as a star in the league… Because he just happens to be a Knick doing what he’s doing, while scores of folks are watching, because there’re are tons of Knick fans all over the league if Makail says he wants out of Brooklyn, Nets may take as many first rounders from Knicks as they can, plus Boyan to give them a veteran 3 n D wing who shoots at least 40% from 3. It could happen.

Mikal bridges is the guy that Brunson wants this is the missing piece to a chip

would be a perfect fit, but I think Giannis is the real play.

It's not about a superstar ppl keep saying that it's about fit Mikal is the best fit and why wouldn't the nets deal with the knicks? It depends on what's gained a couple of players plus multiple 1st round picks should be enough what ppl keep failing to mention is that Mikal isn't a superstar not even a all-star he's a amazing young player and more than likely a future all-star but isn't there yet if you offer a all-star plus 1st round picks they're going to say NO? I don't think so.

Not gonna happen, it has to be a 3 way trade, burks and Bodan and picks not doing it and the nets not gonna do a straight up trade with knicks i dont see it happening

I think they're going after Donovan Mitchell but let's see I wouldn't mind Bridges he absolutely good somebody that I wanted them to drafted but of course thanks to Phil Jackson we had a whole different direction

We are good with the players we have rn but I wouldn't mind Mikal Bridges because I still think he's the missing piece 🔶️🔷️🗽🏀

Ngl Mikal is the Nets core player why would they try and ship him out unless he was disgruntled which I dont think he is. He is a young star that the Nets can build around doesnt really add up if they would be willing to trade him….ESPECIALLY to the NYKs. #makeitmakesense
