However, the offseason is looming and the New York Knicks have many decisions to make once that time comes. However, if Leon Rose could have his way, the Knicks will be trading for Devin Booker this offseason. Booker is overrated. He’s not a winning player and plays no defense. You’re talking about trading Randle, Bogan, Deuce, and probably five 1st round picks. That would be a disaster. I rather just trade Bogan and two 1’s for Dejounte Murray and keep Randle and Deuce. Your take is terrible on this trade.

I dont want to give up everything for an unproven player in this city. I would run back the same team next year and for Donovan to be a free agent after neext season. Signing a free agent instead of trading what we got is the way to go.

Don't want Devin Booker despite how good he is - complains to much and costs too much. Stay the course with players that buy into playing both sides of the ball - especially DEFENSE, players that buy into 'NEXT MAN UP' attitude - can we say MIKAL We don't want Joel Embiid = dirty player - see how he grabbed Mitchell Robinson's ankle in game Please do not mortgage the future for one big mega star, especially ones that are over 30, have an EGO and do not fit in with Villanova vibe. Let's get Mikal Bridges and see what's available for Alec Burks. I'd keep Bogdanovic - he'll have successful surgery and be a great bench player with his 3 point shot prowess [and he's at a stage in his career where he's comfortable coming off the bench and will not cost a premium to keep]. The Knicks have built a great culture - like the 70's and 90's Knicks = tough, next guy up, defense, team ball, etc... Let's not mess with this formula. And most of the team are in their 20's. To heck with mega-stars pass their primes that act like divas and are ball hogs. NO TO BOOKER.

Leon isnt going to split up the nova boys you know that. The reason he put them here in the first place was for JB. He isnt going to mess with the love JB got for those guys. Right now everything leon does is for JB to keep him playing the way he's been. The only one missing is Mikal bridges and then the nova squad is complete and JB will be happy. If he can somehow get booker as well then fine but we'll see

I would love Devin Booker but not at the expense of what makes this team what they are!
I never forget how Brooklyn Nets had that nice team coming along until they built it enough to be attractive to stars and it was destroyed once they signed KD and Kyrie and used the players to trade for Harden and then swap him for Ben Simmons! Total disaster!
Maybe Donte not so much, but you trade players like Hart, McBride, OG, Hartenstein, Mitch and you end up with the opposite of what makes us Knicks fans love this team! We will lose that nitty gritty hardcore toughness for a player who hasn’t won anything!
Maybe if you talking about Randall, Bojan, Precious who I like, Burkes, along with some draft picks then I’m all in!
But let’s not become a while different team with no identity starting all over again, because we traded the players that made this season possible for a star that we’ll have to hopefully find players like the ones we traded away for him to make this team a legit contender, it’s not that easy to do!
We need this team as is, and add to it but not by subtraction or hey players

Not at the expense of tearing down what Rose has put together. He's a talent but at the cost I wouldn't make that move.
