It just doesn't make too much sense. I think Dante has more upside than Thompson at this point in his career

Good video. When the hell are we going to trade Stephen a Smith.. he is just bad for the Knicks..

You're completely right, man. Klay is not Benjamin Button, he can end his career with the Warriors or any other team, except NY.

I totally agree with you, lets draft two rookies in the 2024 draft, add some home grown talent!

Did you say they'd have to trade for Klay and he'll be an Unrestricted free agent come July? 🤦🏾‍♂. Let Klay go to Orlando.

Bro, SAS just confused Grimes for and praised Ihart for his production off the bench.... when Ihart has been starting for months. Its so obvious SAS doesnt actually watch Knick basketball, a blind man can see that. Why the hell are we still even entertaining his takes? Leon Rose would never listen to SAS. Let's just take comfort in that.

This new Knick regime isnt swayed by public opinion. Those days are over. They are going to analyze the roster and do whats needed to compete for a championship. There is a new sheriff in town and his name is Leon Rose.

Stick with the youth movement.
No Thompson, too old 😔.

The Knicks do not need nor should they want Donavan Mitchell . They already have a ball dominant small guard, they need to surround him with 3 and D guys and they need a playmaker off the bench, to make room for a Devin Booker or Mitchell means letting go most of the same key role players we have right now around Jalen Brunson.

The Knicks adding an all-star PF to the starting lineup and moving OG to the SF spot and Hart to the backup spot could make a big difference. I am curious who is available in the off-season though.

Well said. You break it down right. Booker, Bridges make so much sense. I’d go for another Nova reunion.

That makes no sense. Klay is not what he used to be and, he doesn't fit the timeline of this team. If I was the Knicks and, I was looking to upgrade in the off-season my target would be Lauri Markkanen. I know that hard but he fits the Knicks perfectly. He is one of the best catch and, shoot players in the league, he can play make and, he can guard multiple positions. After him it would be Mikal Bridges. Mikal is a great defender, a good scorer, can create and, has a great relationship with Jalen Brunson. Branden Ingram and, Herb Jones would be other names I would consider because of their versatility and, they are able to score. The Knicks have a star they need to add pieces around him. I believe the Knicks need to add size and, spacing around him

So at one time klay was great don't get me wrong. But we're talking about a bench player right now. On a team that's barely above 500. This is what the old kick's regime used to do. Get players past their prime sign them to use contracts. I feel like Stephen A Smith Low key like someone who hates us. Why would this dude think that unless he does not know basketball

Spida > Book >>>> Bridges .... if I'm Brooklyn I trade Bridges for all those Knick picks and use those picks to get Spida.

Hell no! That's not going to happen. @ Stephen A Smith 🤡

SAS is not a New York Knicks Klay is getting older, slower and he’s too expensive. We need to get younger, and more athletic down the road in order to compete for a title, not by bringing in older players who are way overpriced.

I agree we need one of those guys to make the Knicks compete

How the fuck are we going to do that with the salary cap

Klay Thompson as a free agent, on a veterans minimum contract, then yes. NOTHING ELSE.
