The way Shaun loves Lea is so precious.
He loves her even though he thinks she doesn't love him back or never will. He can't and won't stop loving her because of the things they have been through, the moments of joy and sadness they've shared. It's like no matter what happens in their lives, he will always love her.

Shaun finally found the right words to express what Lea means to him. He told Lea he loves her but she knew that all along but he needed to express why he loved her and he does it here. Conveniently overheard by Lea thanks to Lim keeping channel open. Lea also realizes what Shaun means to her and that they each make each other more. Beautiful scene.

As I’ve said before, I think she does love him. In fact, I think that’s why she said they couldn’t be together. It’s not even that she doesn’t want to hurt him, she doesn’t want to fail him. She doesn’t want to even try because she doesn’t want to run the risk. That’s my take anyways. I was in love with a girl for several years that didn’t feel the same about me, this doesn’t feel like that to me.

And there’s such irony when he says he doesn’t make her more because he totally does! This is why I still want them to work out, they better each other. Lea makes Shaun more outgoing and Shaun could make Lea more structured, stable, reliable. They have to meet each other in the middle to give one what the other’s missing. I really, really hope this goes somewhere.

Scene of the night!!! I love how Shaun was able to beautifully express WHY he loves Lea. It’s not just a crush, or a fixation. For what it’s worth, I think he DOES make her more!!

And for Lea to hear it all - just WOW!! I really hope that she’s able to find enough determination to overcome her self-demons and realize she IS good enough to give this an honest shot!
