THE FIRST DATE. What to wear to protect yourself. Mid-weight style tips.

Even before I started dating after escaping my father, I learned a lot from how he treated women, which contributed to my anxiety. Taking the leap into the dating world didn't mean I overcame my fear. I redirected the energy positively, which included applying what made me afraid of people to my list of precautions to take.

The clothes you wear, how you do your makeup, the length and style of your hair, and how you carry yourself send messages. I am not saying to let fear keep you from living your life. However, taking precautions can save your life.

Thank you for sharing, what you said about dress code on dates. Growing up in my world following being violated as a child, I wore trousers and then funny enough the job I went into for years, was male dominated so I wore trousers. Yes some men do think they have a right to touch women without their permission. For me, those men are dangerous and to be left well alone. They can make all the excuses they want, it doesn't wash. I have not dated for many years. In my experience, I wonder if there is any gentlemen out there? Your such an inspirational lady💜
