#1 rule, first date is an hour. Drinks, quick lunch, coffee. You're overthinking it. and If you can't spend an hour with someone that you're not interested in, you're the problem. If it's going well, hang out a bit longer and plan a 2nd date. A little due diligence before hand will prevent you meeting someone bat sh*t crazy.

A good rule before a first date is to actually have positive self talk. Prep yourself up. Do things that make yourself be good before the date. Then during the date just be yourself. But don’t forget to create some positive tension with your date

You know my first date was a blind dinner date and it lasted 3 hours. I think a dinner is totally fine. I think it really depends on what you are bringing to the table and for me I wanted it to be light and fun with no expectations. How I showed up was exactly what was reflected back.

I truly loved these tips and I've always been adamant about never committing to dinner as a first date but suggesting meeting for coffee, tea or a drink and then taking it from there without the expectation of what's next!
