the internet is great but it's positives don't outweigh its negatives, I really don't know if we'll ever get a hold of this, it's screwed everything up, at least when the internet was only at a desk or laptop, it was out of site out of mind, THAT, was okay, THAT didn't cause that many problems, but now that it's in our pockets..man is it such a HUGE problem, giving your kid one of these phones is insanity, I remember the power of a desktop computer and even as an 18 year old I knew that giving your kid a computer was just asking for trouble..and I'm not a young person

I don't think humans will ever get used to the power, it's too much for us to handle, we're bombarded by information..we're not supposed to know and be worrying about the other 8 billion people 24/7, everything is so easily accessible..when we need to know what working for something feels like, almost anything we could ever want..which means you're living through others, infinite distractions and temptations..when you should be studying and creating and getting things done and focused on family, and it's the perfect anti-social and depression device and escapism when you need to face reality..when you should be making friends who will be there for you in real life and not concerned with what a thousand total stranger angry teenagers think and you need to be experiencing emotions rather than dismissing them and numbing them with entertainment

I wrote a lot, stop giving your damn kids cell smart phones, say no! there's better alternatives, and stop letting them pay COD locked in their room all day, be a damn parent, pass down traditions and skills and wisdom..schools are not parents, school are only babysitters, you're supposed to be raising them into capable functional adults, there are no tv shows like the cosby show or growing pains now with families to teach them how to be a good person while you're at work, there is no shop class teaching them the trades and getting their hands dirty and teaching them what it feels like the build and create something, there are no malls for them to meet girls at.. kids NEED you more than ever, amazon, facebook, disney, cable news, comcast or whatever have ruined everything
