Life isn’t about living anymore, it’s about survival

I don't think she's entirely wrong. This is not life at all. We are humans, not AI robots whose purpose in life is just work.

Well she isn’t wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m 35 and I feel this way…I have kids and I feel I hardly get to spend time with them. I leave the house at 8, drop my kids off, go to work till 5 or 6, pick the kids up, go home, cook, clean, bathes, and bed. I don’t get to sleep till 2am most days and have to wake up at 6. It’s exhausting AF.

Now she realizes why TAX PAYERS are so freaking pissed. Reality pilled. Where she been?

Missed me with this one. Not being able to make ends meet and the stresses of work are a legitimate concern for people of any generation.

Classic rage bait title, the girl realizes that she has no time to do anything for herself and that her life will just be a routine of the same thing for a really long time. It has nothing to do with being a Gen Z

And now she understands why the other side isn't able to protest all the time.

This is what they don’t teach you in college, real life skills.

It’s a problem for everyone! Anyone that wants to say this is just a gen z thing is in denial of themselves. Millennials have been saying this, the whole girl boss movement tried to shame us and make us feel lazy for saying this but NO, enough with that. Working 9-5 SUCKS ASS.

I’m 38 with a bachelors of science degree and I think 9-5 is an absolutely insane amount of time to spend giving your energy to someone in exchange for barely enough money to live. I’ve walked out of the corporate slavery and tell my kids all the time to not give up what limited time they have in this world to make someone else money. The older people saying things like “that’s just life”, “that’s just the way it is” or my favorite “well, we all had to do it so you better buck up”…not only are you saying you’re complacent but that you don’t feel there’s a need to change is wild. It seems like you’re really just resigned to living to what?! Is your social security going to be there? If so, are you going to be comfortable living on that? I’m so proud of the younger people speaking out. I’m with the new generations all the way 🙇‍♀️ Let’s be the change we want to see. Much love 💗

She found enough time to whine and complain

Imagine coming home to young children while working a 9-5…..
yea, that’s where women’s rights and equality took us….

Finally a generation says no to sacrificing your life and live a life with no purpose ! We were not created for this !

To be fair, she's not wrong. Commuting takes away so much time, so what should be a 40 hour week is actually more like a 50-55 hour week. One good thing that came out of covid was more flexible schedules for a lot of people. I work a hybrid schedule and eliminating commute time and being able to take a break and do other stuff like exercise during the day makes life much easier

It was never about women not having rights it was about having an entire group of people not being taxed

Welcome to adulthood and democrats wonder why the taxpayers are pissed about 45 % of my paycheck goes to taxes

I felt the exact same way as a 24 yr old in 2005. It’s a really hard life adjustment.

Yeah, because it sucks even harder for them. It was bad before, now it's worse. Get off your high horse. Working 40 hours a week for something that is not your own is awful.
