I have been to Katz Deli and they don't hold a candle to this place. I just ate there two weeks ago on a business trip and I ate there all three days I was there and the food was absolutely incredible. Top 10 restaurant for the price in America.

I used to work around the corner from this place. The food is excellent. All their sandwiches are great especially the pastrami. Even the fries, coleslaw and potato salad are fantastic.

I grew up in Chelsea, MA, in the early 70's and experienced the best delis, and bakeries, before the city just went to heck around 78.

I'm not kidding, the Nashua NH area is prime space for actual good food, since there are no delis, there are no places like this, and you will make a fortune.

La Grassas is delicious, but every sandwich is -25- bucks. It's the most expensive sandwich shop in Boston.

Been there dozens of times, and it ALWAYS shocks me of how good it is. Their sandwiches are just out of this world. Sam is a sweetheart too, he looks serious and sometimes angry, but that’s just his face, he’s a really nice guy.

My mom used to love the pastrami on rye, no condiments. She used to say that the Pastrami is so good, it doesn’t need anything. And I agree, it’s just so good. I love their Chicken Parm sandwich too, just fantastic.

I live in NYC, but Sam’s is still my favorite sandwich shop. Their New England Clam Chowder is amazing too. Can’t say enough good things about it, once you go, you’ll understand.

I once was in line to get a sandwich in a New Jersey sandwich shop, and the guy in front of me was talking to his buddy about a legendary sandwich shop in Boston, and I said, you talking about Sam Lagrassa’s, and he said, you’ve been there ?? It’s amazing !

I used to go there ALL the time when I worked in Boston and I would get the Pastrami Traveler sandwich. Unbelievably good. They didn't have the Chipotle Pastrami sandwich at the time so next time I'm in Boston I'll have to check it out.

I haven't been there in a few years, but it is the best sandwich I've ever had. Everything on the menu is top notch. There is some sticker shock, but it's worth every penny.
