Did you catch Conal Cochrane's secret PIN code in Halloween III and the meaning behind it? In this video we analyze ALL the movie's secrets!

► Jimmy's Channel: @JimmyChampane

THE NIGHT NO ONE CAME HOME. Halloween III is the black sheep of the Halloween franchise, bearing little connection whatsoever to the original two movies and the iconic slasher that made the franchise famous: Michael Myers.

However, many people don't realize that there is a through line between Michael and his ideology in Halloween II and Conal Cochrane, the main bad guy here in Halloween III.

In this video, I'll once again be joined by Halloween franchise expert @JimmyChampane as we go through EVERYTHING you might have missed in this weird sci-fi horror spinoff-sequel: Halloween III: Season of the Witch, including why it's called that, because there is no witch in this movie. We'll talking about the little known connections that it actually does share with Halloween 1 and 2, what the movie represents and the overall message, the surprising Stephen King set ups, and of course: every easter egg and background detail that we could find.

About Halloween Kills
The Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet. Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. Evil dies tonight.

I used to hate this movie when I was a kid. Now, I have more of an appreciation towards the film as an adult. I now have more respect for what John Carpenter tried to do. But the unfortunate truth is that Michael Myers became synonymous with Halloween by the second movie. If Michael only had a one-and-done movie, then the anthology direction would've been a smoother transition and probably would've been seen in much more positive light when it came out.

As someone who was a kid in 1982, I can say that where I lived, the town celebrated Halloween hardcore. Hundreds of kids out on the street trick-or-treating and yes, even the gas stations had candy. Almost every store did. Even the mall was open late and each store have employees dressed up at the entrance of their store to hand out candy. I remember Radio Shack having a dude in a cheesy robot suit. Good times

This movie messed with 5-year-old me. Those kids turning into snakes and caterpillars and bugs terrified me!

Saw someone suggest once that the Halloween reboot should've been set in the "real world" like Craven's New Nightmare, with the actors playing themselves, but then have someone plant a Michael Meyers mask but made by Silver Shamrock, so it turns the wearer into Michael Meyers and he goes after Jamie Lee Curtis. I don't remember the details now, but they laid it out super cool and really sold the idea. Id've loved to see it, would've been a super clever way to reboot the franchise.

I would love it if you collabed with Dead Meat, your guy's editing and humor would complement one another

What you’re not taking into account in this video is that the character of Ellie was most likely ALWAYS a robot. Remember, Cochran told Challis in the elevator that making his robots look human was just another form of mask making. It’s possible that Cochran had sent Ellie to tie up loose ends and what better way to eliminate witnesses than to lure in the divorced, drunken older doctor who witnessed the crime than with a robot that looks like a beautiful, young woman?

Although, there's that theory that Michael wore a Prototype of the Silver Shamrock Mask, the Clown Mask.

Hadn't thought of the Hypnotic Media angle before, but it fits with Carpenter's "They Live"

Trick or Treating at a gas station, we typically have candy behind the counter specifically for Trick or Treaters. We never got a lot of kids (obviously), but some of our regular kids would stop by, or their parents who were regulars who asked prior if we did anything for Halloween

I love this movie! It makes me so happy that it's gotten more of a cult following within the last handful of years, I think it's severely underrated. If you want a movie that's just dripping with the fun of the season, this is it.

I was hoping a Silver Shamrock ad was shown before this video. Great job, Zac!

11:26 I looked at it for a split second and can tell that is most definitely not the Irish flag, it's green, white, and red, with the golden sigil in the middle. It's most likely the Mexican flag or the Italian flag

This is awesome! I think this film is under rated because it doesn't have Michael Myers in it! But it is a pretty decent movie all things considered. We just released a video on this movie a few days ago as well so Im excited to watch the things we missed when watching haha

CZ: "Heavy drinking is a common trait of the stereotypical Irishman."
JImmy: "Another thing Irish people are known for can be seen in this clip." (car explodes)
Me: Well, *that* would certainly explain a few of my tendencies! 😆
