4 things you missed in Sekiro:
Your parry timing
Your attack timing
Your dodge
That stupid hook shot ledge I SWEAR I was in range.

A fun little tidbit about the Demon of Hatred: when you first draw his attention in the arena, you might notice he strikes an unusual pose -- his right hand held forward, palm towards you, his left arm bent and raised over his head (you see this in the video, starting around 12:30). This is a Kabuki pose, known as a mie, intended to draw the audience's attention to a powerful or important part of a performance and to convey that the character's emotions have reached their peak; the closest mie it resembles is the Genroku mie, though I think it's missing a component or two from the traditional format -- understandable, considering the twisted form of the character.

Just found that little parallel with the performance arts of Japan interesting, and it lends an extra bit of depth to the Sculptor's mental state through a physical expression. It's a bit anachronistic, considering Kabuki wasn't developed until after the end of the Sengoku period -- but then again, the historical accuracy of the game is pretty squishy as the best of times, so I think we can forgive that.

I'm glad I did the other quest line, kotaro deserved better than that and I don't need to save any money. I'll just do what I always did, git gud.

I noticed Gyoubu is actually blind on his left side. I first noticed his horn is missing during my first battle with him. Surprisingly nobody seems to have noticed it too. He always tries to get you on his right side. If you're on his blind side, he never hits you.

Sorry for the delay with this one! I actually finished editing it last week, but my PC died before I could upload it. Yesterday I finally repaired what was wrong..and we're back. While I couldn't edit, I worked on lore video scripts..so it might end up being the next video I release, if all goes well. The info at the end of the video is a bit outdated.

There's an insane amount to dive into with Sekiro. I wish I could work faster

"Farewell, Sculptor."
"Wolf, thank you."
Now, that's makes sense at first i didn't know why the Demon of Hatred always recognise Wolf like his friend, that's so sad.

The sculptor actually foreshadows the demon of hatred imo when he tells us “Dont be afraid to go all out”

4:33 In the assassin's defense, there's a folklore pretty common in Eastern Asia cultures about Giant Snakes who live to a thousand years and gain magic power that allows them to transform into human beings. Some go around and use their beauty to seduce men and take their life force.

So, it's not like that guy wanted to fuck a snake

Here's something I noticed about the Sculptor when he turned into the demon. So his left arm, or what used to his left arm, was on fire. We know that he most likely turned into the demon after being corrupted by Shura's wrath. In the Shura ending, you see in the cutscene that Wolf's left prosthetic arm was on fire as well. That's an awesome detail I couldn't help but notice.

The Tengu apears a second time to give you another esoteric text. This happens in the pass between Ashina castle and the Sniper canyon after defeating Genichiro but before the raid on Ashina castle. This only happens if you have unlocked one of the moves at the end of an esoteric text you had previously.

About the Shura: If you look at the altar in front of the Sculptor's table in the endgame there's a blood red claw print on it. The tree you use to grapple out from the Dilapidated Temple is smouldered, despite the Ministry having no business there, indicating his transformation. It all goes out the window with the merchant's dialogue though.
