Equity and Choice in Health Care Access, a conference in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Center for Health Administration Studies (CHAS) at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, kicked off with a session that included two speakers and a respondent, entitled, "Long-Term Care Needs and Access to Care under the ACA." The second speaker was Judy Feder, discussing a specific sub-population of those needing long-term care: those who qualify for both Medicaid and Medicare. Feder explored the issues of access and choice that affect this "dual-eligible" group.
