How does an interception work? And what does it take to get these impressive aircraft into the skies?

It works like this someone enters your airspace he doesnot leave it even if you said him to identify himself and you send an aircraft to fly near the airplane or jet and try to communicate with the pilot if he doesnot respond and he is near a place where he shouldnot be you shoot him down. Everyone understands FORCE but not talking.

Nice video. Question. What about if an aircraft is to be shot out of the sky? How to make sure it doesn't crash on a densely populated area?

This video doesn't tell when an aircraft is allowed to be shot down.
So what is the military point of view that Turkey shot down the Russian airplane and not escort it? Is it justified or should they have escorted the plane out of their airspace?

So that is how it works every day, everywhere else on the planet,  except on one particular day in the USA.

Well, 102 Km in 150 seconds at mach 2, so... hurry up! Also, Wouldn't be cheaper sending a SAM and asking questions later? Just kidding
