Drive a diesel and it's black within 10 miles, so new oil goes bad in 10 miles as 'it's black' ?
It's all down to distance and style of driving.
One person can go 8K on oil (motorway driving, long distances), while another uses up that oil in 3K (city driving, start stop, short distances)
