This question is crucial as it provides insight on how the candidate behaves within a team.
Our recruiters always call me to interview candidates who applied for the department I run and I got to admit that this question is generally answered pretty well.
Plus, these candidates are all graphic designers, people think they are bad in such situations, but they aren't.
They overwhelmingly talk good about the previous employer, so I have to dig deeper, because I know everyone has something they didn't like.

And the candidates that got fired previously won't say that to me. But I always find out when I filter out the 2-3 best cadidates, because in a small town you can easily get good information, very fast.
