I clean up while I cook! I agree it works. I use something, I put it away. I make a mess, I clean it up. My dinner is done and my kitchen is clean.

I wear blouses and sweaters twice before washing. I change clothes as soon as I get home from work, so I’m only wearing the item for nine or ten hours. I wear the same sweatshirt and pants around the house in the evenings for about a week.

Here is a great kitchen tip! I use a large plastic bowl where cuttings from veggies go and all wrappings and other used and empty stuff goes. (Empty tin cans and bags) Take it once at the end of food prep and dump it. Clean up is a breeeze. Instead of cluttered counter, peace! Rachael Ray taught me to do this and I have done it since!

I have a hanger rack resting behind my bedroom door. This allows me to take off clothes and store for another use. No one sees it but I know I can rewear clothes twice and save on laundry. !!!!🤪

❤love “lazy” hacks for anything‼️ to me, when I hear the term lazy… It equates to something simple and logical. In comment sections I’ve gotten so many hateful comments when people say oh you just need to do XYZ or it’s just not that hard and those people are simply not getting the point.‼️❤️🔆

I agree with your tips but the tv stand is a life saver - all wires and dvds get hidden and great for storage. Nightstands can house meds we need on hand, eye drops, napkins, creams etc.

I have the towel bar and hooks. I feel like the towels get drier on the bar, and more quickly

I grew up in the tropics and we only wore things once because of perspiration. This has been the hardest habit to break! It took me decades before I was able to wear something twice. My rule now is if I didn’t spill anything on it and it still smells good; I can wear it again.

Your tips are more environmentally friendly then many other sites. Thank you. ✌️💜✌️

- We also cook a lot and preparing veggies is very time consuming. Solution for (at least) some dishes: buying frozen veggies. Still healthy
- I hate to clean the kitchen after a good meal. So, I also do dishes while cooking. Great tip!
- we have 3 laundry bags: for 30, 40, 60°C. Laundry is already separated before washing (sure, we then still separate fair/dark colors etc.)
- use sock clamps: no need to sort socks after washing, single socks don't get lost. But use of a laundry net is mandatory!
- every item in the household should have it's own place to be easily found
(Some of these tips might not work so well with children or reluctant boyfriend)

I wouldn’t say it’s ‘lazy’ to keep the items you constantly use at hand, it’s called Common Sense .

Remotes basket! I did this and love it. All remotes in living area go in here. It is a lovely wood basket that’s attractive and fits all the remotes. Perfect solution. Never search for a remote again. !

I have a teeny tiny house, but we are empty nesters now. In fact, my husband built me a pantry in my water heater closet. Anyways, I appreciate these tips as they work well for me in this season of my life. (The fantasy clothing hit home hard!)

Great ideas for how to be more efficient! I added one of those toilet paper holders to the cart of my Walmart online order as I was listening. The washroom in the mancave needs some help. 😆

I live alone, but I’ve heard that some people will just have one laundry basket in a common area, such as the hallway and everyone puts their laundry in there. Almost wish my mom would’ve had us do that because every Saturday morning she yelled up the stairs early in the morning for us to bring down our laundry. My laundry was in a bag, so usually I just threw it down the stairs. But I could’ve slept in a little bit more if she didn’t have to yell for my laundry! 😂 I’m sure I eventually figured out to throw my laundry down on Friday night.

Hello and thank you! I'm so glad that I found your channel. My husband and I had just purchased our new home while still owning the previous one. The new house had been empty for 7 years and was dusty/dirty. Our old home was crammed with possessions. I wanted a change. I found that if cleaning is made to be harder but having too much clutter, then I would give up and stop cleaning entirely. I lived in this almost empty house for 6 weeks before my husband and loved how open it was. I began searching for cleaning and decluttering videos and found you! Super helpful! Can or did you ever link your soap bottle mats?

I keep kitchen cleared all over, not just one space. It works. Use all the kitchen or just a little. Clean up before you leave. It is ALWAYS ready to go! Great way to live.

I've always put my dishwashing liquid into a pump dispenser just for efficient use, faster than tilting a squeeze bottle, and it comes out in a measured amount, so no over-use of the liquid. Now that I have arthritis in my hands it's even more efficient for me. I've got to look up those silicone trays/mats you use by your sink!
