The butterfly stretch is one of the most popular stretches out there. In fact, many of us have done it without maybe even realizing that we're doing it. If you've ever sat criss-cross applesauce on the ground and felt that stretch in your hip/groin, you're doing some version of the butterfly stretch. BUT, the purpose of this is to stretch the groin. The first thing I wanted to know is if you were a Doctor of physical therapy or a chiropractor. I went to your website and thankfully you are a “REAL” Dr and not a dc. I am radically against chiropractors and I don’t want anything to do with them. I have found that a large number of chiropractors are scam artists and practice outside their areas of study.
So, thank you, your neck video was very helpful

Don't knock it until you kearn and try it yourself. This stretch is excellent and wholesome if you get the yank from both sides and the back. Those who do it right with knees touching the floor will know what I am talking about

hi , i am a kickboxer and my sport requires mobility and flexibility in order to kick better and higher, i have a problem, and its that I'm struggling with mobility and flexibility training, the reasons are the butterfly pose and the middle split strech are very painful to me and the pain is not just muscles stretching, i literally feel is in my bones, and there's nothing i can do about about it other than to not strech. please help me .

I forcefully did some butterfly stretch and somehow i think i injured my hip and groin on the left side because when i do some specific movements on my legs i will feel a sharp pain at my upper left thigh

I gotta use dumbbells. 20-25lb and try to do 15-25m x2-3 a week

Am I doing something wrong? I can put my heels very close to my crotch while my knees almost touch the ground like the athlete you showed. While I did do that kind of pressing years ago, I no longer feel pain once thw flexibility built up and I can still do it years after I stopped. taekwondo.
