Have been training for 8 years now, recently discovered this channel and it's transformed my training. Especially the philosophy of taking the muscle from a full stretch to a full contraction. Keep up the good work

I’ve done a lot of branding work for big companies in the US - just wanted to say you’ve done a phenomenal job differentiating yourself w/ the “old school” theme. Great content as well 👌🏻

Lu raises should get an honorable mention. 2 for 1 side delt and trap exercise. It’s severely underrated.

Literally just going through lateral raises in my head for tonight's session.. your video has just helped me more than you know.

Thank you

For me the best way to isolate them is to contract the delts before initating the movement, in this way I am able to exclude traps from the movement. Keep them squeezed through the raise, relax when the rep is done and then Contract and start again.

I've found what works for me is a slight incline against a bench with heavier weight but only do a partial low movement.
I learnt this from John Meadows.

Instant like when i saw the incline laterals, that's my favorite too, great content and straight to the point.

Saw you doing these the other day and I gotta say, it’s extremely humbling. Excellent delt isolation.

True!! I see a lot a guys using momentum, not only on lateral raises, but on hammer curls and many others.

I saw you doing this variation in a previous video, been doing it since then. This is the only pain free variation for me! Thanks

My favorite lateral raise cue is to throw the dumbbells out to the side, this incentives you to use your delts to begin the movement because your traps naturally shrug up when you think about moving the weight up but the delts naturally fire when moving the weight out.

This is the only way to do lateral raises.

I’ve done it like this for the last 2 years and my shoulders look completely different.

Can’t wait to post my 3 year transformation video, I’ve added 12 ish lbs of muscle and my shoulders are now my strongest bodypart by far.
