Overtime your channel will grow even when you do make a few mistakes along the way. The only real mistake you can make is giving up.

Personally I prefer to focus more on making a fun video and to write a story for it. Not really a master on editing or thumbnail designs or SEO. Just are happy when the thumbnail is a part of the story and helps the viewer in explaining what the video is about. People do enjoy simple things too. Really are happy seeing how my channel slowly is growing. Mainly because of the support of many other awesome and lovely gaming content creators out here that are passionate about the same things. Did make a lot of friends and as a gaming channel its pretty awesome to work together with smaller game developers who are happy to share review keys from their new upcoming games. It's pretty awesome to write a review and get a chance to try out the games before the official release. Still only are a small channel with around 850 subscribers. But this is more then I would ever expected.

But some content creators are doing YouTube as a full time job to make a living. That will take lots of effort and dedication. So many awesome YouTubers like Nick Nimmin and you Brian G Johnson. You guys are really doing a wonderful job out here and are helping lots of people with reaching there goals too. 😺😺❤️❤️

Seriously, this presentation was powerful, even to that pause at 10:23...pin drop silence, a mic drop moment

I hope folks are picking up what you’re throwing down in this video. 100% truth as always Brian G! Thank you!

I really thought at the end you would say "I have two poodles and they're hungry, you dig?" So to see the video cut so abruptly was jarring to say the least.

I love your on camera style, I could not see almost any jump cuts or and cuts at all, it’s very rare to see a YouTuber who’s not “cutting the fluff” and the silence moments you actually gathering your thoughts, I will try to adopt that and try to stay as real as possible. I was under the impression viewers would be thrown off by these awkward moments but watching you felt like it’s totally fine and natural and we shouldn’t cut these part just for the sake of “cutting”, thank you 🙏

Yes - I do agree with all - but what I am really impressed with Brian is your delivery this time around! Calm and collected, has a different vibe than most recent or older ones and it does resonate with me even better 👏🏽

I was a big fan of your old studio set-up, but both the footage & audio in your new place is some of the very best I've watched on YouTube. I have no idea of any changes you may have made Brian but it looks & sounds mint...proper good mate.

Great video Brian! You make some really important points regarding the fact that Youtube is always evolving, and so content creation has to match the flow of change. Also loved your comments about acquiring the necessary skills to succeed. Becoming better at the process of production and meeting your specific niche audience's expectations is pivotal. Gaining our first 1000 subscribers was the toughest time, but it is absolutely possible! Thanks again :)

Where i need to improve is delivery, LIGHTING (!!), holding the camera steadier when sweep-filming, and maximizing iMovie's editing capabilities. Tweaking stuff every time! Also, remembering to film those shots that necessitate you to place the camera somewhere and go get it afterwards, like you coming in the door or walking down the street. They require more legwork, but add to the engagement. As a viewer it really makes me feel like i'm there with the person more! And every time i see one of my favorite YouTubers do that i think, "they had to walk all the way back to get the camera and place it in 5 different spots and walk back around"! Lol

Personally I find this presentation to be one of your best. I want information ...so deliver it. That’s what you did here, your a communicator/teacher and some of us really prefer the “sit down and teach me” style without different cuts, jump ins, b-roll etc.
simplicity goes a long way.
This is one I really appreciate!

Hey Brian agreed to all what have been said. Another Mistake thinking that success is guaranteed if we only do continue uploading. Had to revise my goals drastically after realizing that the growth will be much slower then i thought after a few months on the platform. But its okay. So i am not frustrated when underachieving ecpectations clearly.

Enjoyed the change of pace in this one - it helped convey the emotion and feelings - not just the head knowledge.
