wand of sparking is criminally underrated
i dunno if it was because i’m so used to 1.3 wand of sparking but when i used it in my recent playthrough (classic mode) i felt powerful
i legit soloed the eye of cthulhu using wand alone

You could use the grey zapinator with the meteor armour, it reduces the firing cost to zero on that too.

The wand of sparking is genuinely a pretty strong weapon early game lol. It honestly outclasses a lot of the gem staves (not all of them though)

well… guess I’m off to dig some hellavators across my world and farm for money so that when I enter hardmode I speedrun a mech get clentaminator and purify my world as soon as I can and then make artificial isolated caves and floating islands

Tip for pre-hardmode mages - the meteor armor set bonus also works for the gray zapinator.
