Tip: If you are still struggling to beat the mechs, get yourself the Forbidden set. Just like the Frost armor, you need to get the 3 shards from Sand Elementals during Sandstorms.

You can replace pre queen slime to planterra with abigail flower, she gets better in hardmode so she still holds up till planterra, after planterra you can farm desert key for the tiger staff and continue with it till the pillars then star dust dragon

Quick tip for all the summoner loving people: you can get a finch staff by throwing the living wood wand into shimmer.

I like that the finch staff is sort of like a purer version of the raven staff. It’s even clearly intentional because the finch staff was made after instead of at the same time

as a professional summoner i dont recommend using the tempest staff, instead use the xeno staff or the crow staff with the dark harvest as whip since it reduces the enemy defense in 50 (these items can be used against daytime empress)

I just finished my expert summoner playthrough. Ngl it was the most fun I've had in terraria. Managed to kill day time empress under 20 attempts pre moon lord.
