BEST Mage Loadouts for Terraria | Terraria 1.4.4

For pre-moon lord I would recommend the stellar tune from eol. It’s a great weapon and even though the drop chances are low I usually get it so I would 100% use that instead of razorblade typhoon, which is still amazing. Thx for the vid though!

I like to use the flamelash and fire flower against the wall, because it’s easy to grab shadow chests and they do pretty good damage, also bee gun for the hungry but that’s kind of a given

Great vid, i would like to mention that i find hallowed armor much more useful than chlorophyte, as survivability is crucial for mages, but i would also say that the celestial emblem works just as well as celestial cuffs. You don’t really need the extra mana recovery later on, because i find the mana cloak already solves that problem, so you have that extra slot open for more dmg

id drop the cuffs in favor of the celestial emblem after the mechs, as it gives the same damage buffs as the sorcerer's emblem along with the celestial magnet in the same accessory slot

Fire flower is really good imo against the wall since it usually will hit a target since it bounces and does better damage than the book or space gun and with mana regen pot u can basically just spam it

did you know the amber staff is actually above the diamond staff in tiers of staffs??? (amber is technically the "best" gem entirely) its also easier to make because all you need is an extractinator and some fossils from the desert to easily make enough amber and sturdy fossils for it (much easier to do than searching for diamonds or waiting for gem trees)

In my opinion, for Pre-WoF get the Gray Zapinator and Meteor Armor and once in hardmode, get the Orange Zapinator and Adamantite/Titanium Armor.

Guys of your using meteorite armor with space gun or zapinator you don’t need the mage accessories because they are about mana reduction regen and potions, which you don’t need cause your using no mana

All of pre hardmode: demon scythe, jungle armor
Most of hardmode: razorblade typhoon
Moon lord: Nebula blaze

Actually I would use meteor armour over jungle armour 99% of the time because the game doesn’t tell you that the set bonus applies to the gray and orange zapinator which is pretty awesome against the wall of flesh:)

I would prefer using Forbiddion Armor for the Pre Mech Stage since the tornado does lots of extra dps. (this can be used for plantra too!)

why not just use the celes tial emblem instead of the normal emblem? plus it would make it so that you dont really need the celstial cuffs. unless the range of star pick up stacks, ofc

Am I trippin or should you use nebula blaze pre moon lord? Its something you’ll get naturally with progression so you don’t have to fight the duke

Hey, i recently started a master mage playthrough and i used spiky balls to get eater of worlds low and did the rest with vilethorn and diamond staff the first time and 2nd time with vile thorn and spacegun. Do you think it still counts as a mage only playthrough since i used the spiky balls?
