Abandoning His Kids

The plaintiff cared for the defendant’s children for a few months, but she says the defendant hasn’t yet paid her. The plaintiff fed the kids, bathed them, and clothed them, so she’s suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff basically kidnapped his kids and tried to date him. The defendant is countersuing for kidnapping his children and lying to child services.

Everyone yells “protect the children” but looks at her like she did something crazy by assuming responsibility for clearly abandoned children, we already know CPS is a joke and most children end up in worse situations than this, so honestly as a mother of 5 I would have taken the babies in and tried my best to keep them out the system……and before yall come for me regarding what I said about CPS, I know SEVERAL people who were the system who experienced abu$e, grape, etc.

This story is so confusing.. it sounds like the dad is never home & he allows his kids to do whatever they want so the neighbor steps in to help, it's hard not to get involved because you want to make sure kids are being taken care of. Clearly they are being neglected.

Y’all know Judge Judy would have let dad have it! She’s a firm believer you don’t let others pay for your kids, also in father’s rights. I try to be like her, I have kids but I’m auntie to a lot more. Especially teenagers, they need all the love and stability they can get.
