My ex wife and I do not get along but as I speak right now, I sacrifice my time and deal with their mom's mind games to be in my children's life.
I helped create them. I am responsible for them, even when their own mother loses sight of their well-being with her drama. I didn't run off and get married or get a new girlfriend. I stayed single and fixed myself. Defeated my demons, and now I'm a better man for it, and in being a better man for it. I stand to be a pillar of stability security and unconditional love for my children as they grow older. It's been a long, psychologically hard road, but it's been completely worth it.

I'm convinced he has mentally checked out. This man has lost his mind. His eyes tell it all. Elevator is out of order. If I were the kids I would keep that same energy. Because with the way his mind is operating he looks at them as a nuisance and basically a stranger. Ppl like that are liable to physically hurt you or worse. I would never talk to him again and tell myself he passed away. His age excuse makes no sense either because his wife's kids are grown too.
