Video Description:
Welcome to Unity3D C# scripting tutorial series. In this series you will learn how program in C# in unity to create awesome games. Writing scripts is one of the most important process of creating games in unity3d game engine. If you learn C# from ground up , you can create amazing games in unity. C# coding gives you a lot of control over unity, which you can use to do whatever you want in your game. If you are starting with unity game development scripting, you should start learning C# instead of javascript. C# allows you to write scripts for unity in a more organised way, which would help you to understand your game code later. If you want to be a game programmer then Unity and C# is a great way to start learning about various game development principles. Unity is a full fledged game engine, you can do anything you want, and when you have the power of C# in it, you can achieve anything easily. You can write more robust, readable, faster executable code for unity game development. You may have seen that Unity official tutorials also use C#, since it's better to write code in C# than javascript. javascript is a more free-form language, it gives you more freedom which is not that good in long run. If you want to write better code for unity game development, then you should write your code in unity with C#. C# is a great language developed by Microsoft for it's .net platform, and unity uses it as a scripting language.

I was soooo frustrated before watching this video. Every other tutorial expects me to understand the terminology. Thank you, thank you.

You cover a lot of beginner programming topics in this video series very quickly and it's actually really easy to follow. Going to start sending this video to someone when I hear they want to learn programming!

Honestly, I've felt so happy watching this and following along. I love how you broke down what each part was in the beginning as well like what a class is and a namespace etc. It made things really clear in my head so I could form a structure of what scripting is.

Thank you a lot. All joking in the comments aside, I have looked at so many videos, but none were as detailed and helpful as this, I actually managed to learn quite a lot. This was very helpful, anf ofcoarse, you've earned another subscriber and a like. Thank you. 😊

And I also find how you make it very clear, and easy to understand, amazing, other youtubers would do this one hour in ten minutes. Once again, thank you. I bought your 25 hour course btw.

Hey Idk if people really do this but since this thing is about an hour long... I'm gonna leave a dedicated comment.

I'm gonna give my personal review at the end of this and I'm gonna see if I can make heads or tails of this video.
Plus I have ADHD so its really hard for me to focus on learning lol

0:06 Already love it. The accent is great.

Final edit: Alright, I watched it. I liked how he explained the content very thoroughly throughout the entire video. It was very informative and now I kinda understand the breakdown of components.

Basically, in a nutshell, coding is kinda like working backwards half of the time. When you want to achieve something, like lets say "Turning", you have to break it down into further steps so the computer can understand what our complex brains do automatically.

Here's an example:

If you want to turn, you have to rotate your player somehow. The transform tool in Unity is one of the functions you can use to control and rotate objects.

So, you have to call the "transform" class, and then the "Rotate" data inside the class itself.
aka: "transform.Rotate"

Now, that was mearly one step. It goes much more complex than just that, but if you can understand which functions you need and can use something(like the Unity Manual online) to research, you can learn the entire system with time.

Great vid, thanks!

i absolutely love this video! Ive tried so many other courses on udemy and youtube and none of them made any sense at all, they never "clicked"with me. They never explained what the teminology was and all the time i just remained frustrated and confused, so i just gave up.
So thank you!

Thanks a ton Raja! This is one of the few tutorials I have seen that actually explains each component of the code. I decided to enroll in your course.

If you know any programming languages at all you can skip this video. Super basic and I am sure will help anyone completely new to code.
