Nice video, I now understand the Loop component much better. Any word on the top requested feature for Outlook desktop to remove the ludicrous new vertical bar on the left? It can be removed under advanced options for now, but sounds only temporary and every single respondent to the blog post hates it!

I’ve been testing loop for a couple of months and there is one big issue. Normally, replies to emails reach your inbox. Unfortunately, you have to continually check loop for updates. There is no way to know a loop has been updated. Imagine you have ten active loops. If you want to check via email, that means searching sent emails for the ones with loops. Imagine the frustration seeing the loop hasn’t changed? For others, they lose visibility when the email is filed or when the messages go below the viewable area of the inbox.

The last big issue is that there is no easy way, short of creating bookmarks, to finding the loop website. None of the app lists within Microsoft include Loop.

Loops work better in teams, but here the problem is that only one loop can be pinned in a chat. Loops only work today in chats. They don’t work in teams channels (yet?).

My Loop icon on Desktop Office is greyed out. My Online O365 doesn't even show Loop at all. Updating Office brought it up.

These are great features Mike! Thanks for sharing. I keep hearing we are getting Categories in Outlook Mobile (IOS) soon but have not seen it. Mobile is not efficient to me without it as I have been using categories in the M365 Web. An update would be appreciated. (Todo Categories are important as well)

Thanks for the Overview Mike, but WHY did Microsoft remove this feature: When inbox is sorted by FROM, in the original Outlook ( and it has been this way for 20 years), you used to be able to just type a couple of characters of a name, and you would move directly to those entries. Now, you CANNOT do this making the list of emails useless for you when SORTED by From, or Subject, etc...unless the data you want is at the top or bottom of your list. I CAN go through the filtering to get to the data I want, but that takes about 10 clicks to do what I used to be able to do in 1 click and type a couple of characters. I don't understand how this is better. Also, in the New Outlook, you cannot single click an item in your folder list, without it opening the item, instead of just selecting it, making selecting multiple items much harder, unless you "check" the circle... which again, means moving the mouse to a particular part of the screen.

What is new in Outlook 365 that isn't focusing on collaboration? There are many 365 users that ar single person operations that really don't have a need for tight collaboration with clients ort sharing calendars etc.

I tried out the reaction feature but the other person couldn't see it. Is there a notification of when someone reacts to an email?

I tried the new outlook and went back pretty quickly due to missing features, like share an email to teams, onenote, etc. These features are nice, but MS is confusing in that they already have a world class application, I'm not sure why they are not using it for expansion online, etc.

How do we create Rules now for incoming messages?

In OneNote, when selecting to Email Page the contents of the page appear in a new Outlook email. However, my email signature is not present. Can Outlook insert that also? Thank you.
