Yes, I've been in two 4-year relationships. One with a normal woman, one with an avoidant. Women overlap in how they behave a lot, but the main difference was, I believe, the ruthlessness and the lack of bonding. With my "normal" girl, it was like, well we're in a relationship, there's a commitment, we we're willing to meet halfway. Things ended, but it was a good relationship.
With the avoidant one, even though we lived together for so long, it was like sticking a sticker to the fridge, and it keeps falling off because it doesn't have enough adhesive: she was willing to do absolutely nothing that would not benefit her, and when the newness of the relationship worn off, she completely stopped including me in any of her activities with her friends or her family. And with these types, it's like you start to go crazy because you feel extremely unappreciated and played around (which, you kind of are). DO NOT RECOMMEND.

A lot of covert narc females will say they are "avoidant" to justify their bad behavior. And Chris you're spot on most of these women Ive met were promiscuous but acted innocent on the outside lol

I think this is true, also many of these women who have had a lot of sexual partners are on anti anxiety medication.

We used to call this (avoidant) just being a "snob" and "snubbing people" and just avoided girls like that.

Dealing with one now. Runs hot and cold, mostly cold. Expects you to read her mind. Not worth the time and trouble. Always talking about other guys and comparing them to me. I just laugh in her face and say maybe you should be talking to them and not me. She wants attention but doesn't want to make any kind of commitment. Not what I want but she keeps showing up. There's something very wrong about a lot of the women that i have met lately.

More guys need to understand that chasing women who don't have a high level of interest in you is a waste of time. Psychoanalyzing people is great to understand what you're dealing with, but going down rabbit holes and labeling them as "avoidant" or "anxious" doesn't solve the problem. If she's the promiscuous type then yes, either leave the situation or enjoy her as a playmate until you find what you're looking for; and don't forget to wear a raincoat.

Most of the time they are both avoidant and narcissistic not one or the other. A lot of narcissistic people become avoidant after the love bombing stage. Sometimes they want to see if you chase them to build up their ego. Sometimes they do it to avoid you so you don’t catch them seeing other people.
