Two weeks notice is outdated like a paper application. Do companies give you two weeks when your fired? Nope and all employment is considered at will employment. Which means you can me fired anytime or reason without or without notice. So in other terms two weeks notices are a thing of the past.

This. Is. So. Good! If you've ever been on the other side of someone not leaving "correctly", this is so needed. Leave in the best, most respectful, considerate and professional way possible

Please define step into a new place. I am strongly thinking about leaving my job after almost 20 yrs, and it's mainly for mental health reasons. But, I'm actually thinking about stepping into a new country😂 I can't take this any longer.

Got a job through my uncle who's retiring next year. Great place, great people and employers are amazing; however the type of work, the commute and the work hours are just not for me.
Also found out another uncle works there who is currently training me. I don't know how I didn't know he worked there too.
Just stressed about quitting so soon (2 weeks) because the employer had bent some rules to get me in and placed me where my uncle wanted me.
The stress and pressure is killing me. My wife is just or more as stressed for me. I just can't wait longer; consequently it would be worse for the employer and myself stress wise. Ugh.
