Fun fact: Acura's A-spec line originated in Canada, and was originally an upgrade package for the 2003 TL Type S. But over the years, A-spec was watered down to being the mostly appearance package for the non-Type S models like it is today.

SAM THANK YOU! But now I want you to pick the brain on the Type S with racing the Aspec TUNED either in Stage 2 or 3 format. People with the Stage 3 Phearable tune are getting roughly 50 more hp and 98 more torque on a tuned Aspec. That would make it curious if its worth just spend $600 bucks for a tune or thousands for a Type S if you just want speed.

Team TypeS all day. I wanna see the TypeR vs the TLX TypeS. And the Accord 2.0 vs the TLX TypeS. What Acura should’ve done is borrow the 3.5 twin turbo V6 from their track cars. Then The TypeS would’ve been a better competitor.

Great job as always Sam ...I'd love to see the Accord 2.0t go up against the ASpec...more power for the ASpec...but less weight for the Accord Sport 2.0t.

Slow as it may be for its segment, I will say that the Type S should be fast enough to decidedly walk away from the 2.0T.
