I know these are google numbers, but the TL with the 3.7 and 6spd MT ran the same quarter mile as the TLX TS, at 13.7s.

TLX TS has a better launch, gets better mpg, and will pull away beyond quarter mile.

But, for a reduction of only 0.7L with same cylinder count, the addition of a turbo, true DOHC (J series are SOHC otherwise), 4 more (quicker shifting) gears, and 50 hp / 80lb-ft more than the 3.7L from 15 years ago, I personally expected better from the 2021 TLX Type S

DAMNIT!! I recently bought the 2020 TLX SH-AWD V6. In the FIRST day I was wishing it had shorter gearing from 1st-6th. Letting 7th - 9th handle the road travel. the gearing is PERFECT in that vid.

I wish Acura would provide the option of the Sport Hybrid system for the 3.0T TLX/MDX Type-S. That would push the hp/tq over 420, drop 0-60 times by +/- 1/2 to 1 second, added a 7DCT, and city/combined/hwy mpgs would be the same.

0-60 came out to be 4.94 Seconds. And the Launch and acceleration of this car is smooth. I want one of these.

4.7 seconds is moving. I used to have a cammed Trans Am with bolt ons and thats about how fast it was. same for my supercharged cadillac. my how times have changed. not to mention Honda has really decent quality these days at prices that are competitive but usually with more features and comfort than the competitors.

never held the brake long enough. minimum 3 seconds to build boost. You'll hear the engine change, then its ready. Also need to be in sport mode for transmission.

Turbocharged & direct injected V6 with 10 speed transmission, AWD and advanced engine and chassis management from 2021 to do 0-60 mph half a second quicker than an automatic C4 Corvette with a 350 foe boat main from 30 years ago, and the same 1/4 mile. Sweet.
