Keep in mind this only makes about 289HP to the wheel and it's so heavy. That's why 0-60 and quarter mile results are not that impressive considering it's powered with 3.0L Turbo Engine. Would rather have Type R.

Here’s what, you gotta start from somewhere when your coming back to performance, Acura did well other than straight line performance COMPARED TO ITS COMPETITORS. This cars is plenty fast for some. Gosh this car is heavy, but I do applaud Acura for giving this a capable engine in the after market. They also did a good job of hiding its weight in the corners. Overall I’ll say, good start Acura, but you’ve got ways to go to come back to the awesome performance brand you used to be. I hope they shave 200lbs next gen.

I know this model just came out, but there are next to no reviews of the regular FWD, base model TLX. Are they afraid that we'll see it as the Accord+ it is?

Too bad Acura lied about the horsepower numbers. Just saw video of one tested on dyno, only 280 to the wheels. Should be at least 300+ to the wheels.

I wanted this car so bad, but poor performance (for it’s class) and dumb dealer mark ups make it not worth it. I’m going to just wait a couple more years keep driving my Maxima, Save up and buy a Model S Plaid in Spring 2023. If this would’ve been a little lighter or a little more power (or both) and not had 5-10k mark ups, would’ve been perfect.

I don’t know why, but the exhaust on this sounds more girthy than a Porsche 911 992 exhaust. I would still choose the Porsche for its speed and comfort.
