What a brilliant thought provoking answer to the emptiness of the heart. Every time I feel down or depressed, I start questioning my spirituality. I start to think that maybe Allah isn't happy with me but why isn't He happy with me when I'm praying 5 times, reciting the Qur'an and not committing bigger sins. This gives me the answer that there might be a problem with my other 3 components that are affecting my spiritual health.

- Context matters in understanding Quranic verses about the worldly life; it's not that the world is nothing, but rather, it's nothing compared to the hereafter.
- The significance of this life doesn't negate its valuable lessons or experiences; it's about finding meaning that connects this life to the next.
- Extremes like dismissing the world entirely are unbalanced; Quranic teachings emphasize balance and perspective.
- Human beings consist of intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical components; deficiencies in any area can cause a sense of emptiness.
- Emptiness in the heart can stem from various sources: physical, emotional, intellectual, or a circumstance that can't be changed; addressing the root cause is essential.
- Hopelessness often arises from trying to change others to fit our expectations; accepting some things can't be altered is part of finding contentment.
- Meaningful company and experiences can help replenish the heart and alleviate emptiness.

I think when we gathered together and contemplating
[وما الحَياةُ الدُّنْيا إلّا لَعِبٌ ولَهْوٌ]&[ومِن آياتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّماواتِ والأرْضِ]
we discover that
As what Allah says to us to ponder
﴿وما خَلَقْنا السَّماواتِ والأرْضَ وما بَيْنَهُما إلّا بِالحَقِّ﴾
And it's reminding me of what Allah says
﴿إنَّ في خَلْقِ السَّماواتِ والأرْضِ واخْتِلافِ اللَّيْلِ والنَّهارِ لَآياتٍ لِأُولِي الألْبابِ﴾
Indeed, in the creation of the skys and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.

﴿الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ قِيامًا وقُعُودًا وعَلى جُنُوبِهِمْ ويَتَفَكَّرُونَ في خَلْقِ السَّماواتِ والأرْضِ رَبَّنا ما خَلَقْتَ هَذا باطِلًا سُبْحانَكَ فَقِنا عَذابَ النّارِ﴾
Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the skys and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

When we're pondering, it connects us to the last day
