Dr. Thupten Jinpa on Form is Emptiness and Emptiness is Form

I had the good fortunes of interviewing Dr. Thupten Jipa for my documentary Journey of the Heart. I requested him to explain the enigmatic line from the Heart Sutra "Form is Emptiness and Emptiness is Form ....". Dr. Jinpa's response is a master piece.

🛐🙏Humble Namaste to Dr. Thupten ! The statement of ThathaGata can't well define without experiencing the emptiness of mind. When You reach to the state of beyond the mind that is called emptiness only than You can perfectly define why The Buddha said Form has emptiness & Emptiness has Form. You have to attain Nirvana only than You experience the saying & You can define in Your own words no need to borrow words from others. If You borrow words from others than that is dictation but If You can define in your own words than You are in state of emptiness, Self-Awareness. The statement means no duality i.e. 0 = 1
Zero ( शून्य ) is emptiness.
1= Form
When You reach in the state of beyond the mind You have experiencial understanding 1 = 0, Form has emptiness & emptiness has form.

So many people have to point out and preach about the human condition before they answer( or seem to answer) a question. I find it very strange.

Emptiness (Of INHERENT (from its own side) existence). There is NO SUCH THING as an 'entity'.

The statement in the heart sutra is nothing to do with what the speaker is saying. Space is awake. The forms in it are one with space or emptiness. They have the same nature. Which, colloquially is the Buddha nature. No-thing. This is perceptually evident when the observer as entity is dispelled in favour of the actual –nothing being everything.
