I have a 335xi E92 I need to change my steering rack. The car came with no active steering. My question is do you know if a steering rack with the sensor/solenoid has any impact if I install it on my car?
I've been looking for a new steering rack without the solenoid but i had not look so far but I have some options that came with it but not sure if it gonna work or not, fitment...

I have a 2008 E90 318i with N43 engine in the UK and can't find any hydraulic power steering fluid reservoir at all? Does this mean I have electronic power steering and what are the key components of it? Thanks,

When i turn the steering wheel maximum right or left its gives a blow noise like when the tyre is flat . Whats wrong😢

2006 BMW 530xd E61. There is a void where the reservoir would be based on your video. This vehicle is a diesel and there is, what appears to be a reservoir, to the front of the engine bay that says ATF. Do diesels have active steering?

hey i just got a 2012 320i and mine has a m on the steering wheel but on my mates 320i he dosent have a M and i was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a difference ?

I just bought a 2010 x5 and i have a large power steering reservoir BUT when turning the steering wheel from left lock to right lock, it is more than 2 full turns. It’s maybe 2 and a half. Can you advise whether or not i have active steering? Thank you

Does the steering have anything to do with the type of rack and pinion you need? I’m in the process of replacing my rack and pinion but when I search the one that will fit my car some say with active steering and some say without.
