Here is what you'll need!

Chicken & Veggie Stir-Fry
Servings: 6

INGREDIENTS
1 pound chicken breast, cubed
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1 pound broccoli florets
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 tablespoons oil for frying

Sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 teaspoons sesame oil
⅓ cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup chicken broth
¼ cup flour

PREPARATION
1. In a large pan, on medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil. Once the oil is hot, add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until cooked through and browned.
2. Remove cooked chicken from pan and set aside.
3. In the same pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add mushrooms. When the mushrooms start to soften, add broccoli florets and stir-fry until the broccoli is tender. Remove cooked mushrooms and broccoli from the pan and set aside.
4. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and stir until smooth.
5. Return the chicken and vegetables to the saucy pan, stir until heated through.
6. Serve with hot rice or noodles.
7. Enjoy!

I would recommend using cornstarch instead of flour, unless you really want the sauce to be really thick.

Made a similar recipe to this. It was a copy cat Panda Express chicken & zucchini. It's almost the same but it called for the chicken to be cooked in corn starch. By the time you add the chicken back into the recipe, the cornstarch from the chicken thickened the sauce. I just made this one but shouldn't have skimped out on the broccoli and mushrooms. I added a little bit more salt than I wanted but it's edible and for some odd reason this recipe is quicker to do.

Dont know why people are freaking out over the sugar. 1 tbsp of brown sugar is 45 calories and 12g of sugar. If you aren't eating other cakes and brownies or soda and juices throughout the day, this meal is fine. Plus I'm pretty sure you aren't eating the whole pot so it would be even less. Yes too much sugar is bad for you but a little here and there won't kill you. Choose what you eat wisely!

I made this tonight and it was delicious. However, next time I'll follow the advise of another subscriber and use cornstarch instead of flour. Oops, I should add that for veggies I used 1 onion, 1 red bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper and some broccoli.

I used cornstarch to thinken, instead of flour. I also added some sirachca sauce and some cumin for extra flavour. I was pleasantly surprised by the result. I'll make it again.

this recipe is really good, but use a cornstarch slurry instead of flour. it makes it taste more like 'chinese food'

i would recommend if you don’t have cornstarch to make a rue instead of putting flour straight in so the sauce doesn’t get clumpy

I definitely do plan on trying at least a few of Tasty's recipes! I haven't had the money to do that just yet, which is disappointing or the time, but hopefully sometime in the near future I'll be able to try some delicious eats <3
