I've been doing IMF for two weeks now. I've completed two 36 hour fasts... it's finally allowing my body to release fat around the middle. I've been struggling since having a hysterectomy 10 years ago. Thank you for your knowledge.

Thanks to you Mindy, I am back down into my size fours and got myself from insulin resistant to insulin sensitive in a little under a year. I have both your books and they have been a tremendous help in navigating me through menopause (I’m 51). I am six months without a cycle and I am learning to be intuitive with my fasting and feasting days. My menopause symptoms are minimal for the most part like no severe hot flashes, and I sleep pretty good more than 50% of the time and I have you to thank for that. Could not have done this without you! Thank you so much to you and your team.

I love your videos, very helpful, very informative.
But there is one issue nobody is talking about.
Our relationship with food. I will give you an example so you get exactly the idea. Growing up, we lived in poverty, even why I was a baby. Sometimes, my mom had to boil rice and feed me its water because they didn't have money to buy milk. Even when I was a teenager and in my 20', we always ate what we had because we couldn't be picky due to our poverty. Now I'm in a very good place and all this is behind me, I still get scared if the food gets less and I go immediately fill my fridge and pantry. Even when I'm grocery shopping, I get more than I need because I'm scared that I might get hungry and not find anything to eat.
I put a list and tried to stick to it, but I can't fix my relationship with food. When living in poverty, I was 100 pounds, and now that I can eat better quality food, I'm fat. When I'm fasting, I'm not hungry, but I keep thinking that the food I have might go bad and that I should eat it. Can you please address this issue!?

Varying the length of the fasts worked for me

Yep. It wasn't until I did a 36 hour fast did I move into ketones. I have found that adding cinnamon is my secret weapon. On 24 fasts, I make a smoothie with frozen strawberry, prebiotic and probiotics yogurt blob, avocado, a dash of cream, water and cinnamon. 😛😛😛😛💜 and boom, my keto reader goes up! I have found that my ketones are way down in the morning. Is this because of the liver dumping insulin at 2 am? I don't eat in the morning now until they go up. I put on weight if I do fat in the morning. Is this liver DUMP also a problem Mindy??😳😳🤔🤔👍

I needed this one. I signed up for the certification but I’m struggling with the weight not coming off and I’ve been doing 1 meal a day for a month. Still learning and pressing forward.

Love this one, I do every other day fasting from your book. On my eating day, I was too lax about what I was eating. I didn't realize I wasn't accomplishing my goals because I screwed up on the eating day. This video will help me now get to the next level

Consistency is keep a food 'time' journal for your last bite of food each day.

At Easter I enjoyed a hot cross bun and my sweet tooth returned with a vengeance, undoing all the good work I had done in the previous 3 months.

Love the sweater. We've the same skin tone and hair color and never really thought of a rusty orange.

Thank you for this i was stuck in a rut - post menopause, I'd come out of keto for a few months and put weight on... i got my head together and went back onto keto, only to find i couldn't lose any weight. My skin was sallow, and i felt crap.... im 55 and have been athletic most of my life, for the most part, but I had really let things slip.... so i joined the gym.... I'm starting to see some improvement, but what has helped me more than anything is exercising by bringing my heart rate up and down... one way i do this is by power walking on the treadmill for 3 mins and then jog for 2 mins i can do this for a prolonged time as I'm allowing my heart rate to recover - my heart rate goes from 140/150( which is fairly comfortable) to 175/180 (which is really not comfortable, but i can sustain it for a small amount of time) - my skin is brighter, i feel so much better and can see that my body looks better and slimmer, even though i havn't lost any weight yet.... the menopause is a game changer, and im having to learn how to adapt to this next stage in my life... i have gall bladder issues, too - could this be another reason for struggling with weight loss...?

I am 67 and have been IF since Christmas. I have completed 2 x 24 hours and 1 x 43 hours. Otherwise generally fast 16 to 17 hours a day, except the weekend when I might do14 hours. I do HITT at the gym 5 mornings a week at 6am (I don't eat anything until 11am). And I walk about 12k steps a day. I talked it over with my gym coach. We decided, so I could check I was eating right and not losing muscle mass, I would do bodyscans (have a scanning machine at the gym) every 2 weeks. I am happy to say my muscle mass either goes up each fortnight, or remains static, but best of all my visceral/body fat is steadily going down (protein, minerals and water at good levels). I have lost 5kgs since I started and dropped in clothes sizes. It's my body shape that is most notable.

The hard bit for me now is working out the best way of mixing it up, so I maintain and lose just a bit more belly fat. I now weigh 60kgs.

Is it better to do the 5 1 1 or by the moon. I work 5 days a week.

I work out at 6am and have not been eating protein/food until 11am or 12n. Should I be?

I have a question. I'm at the stage with applying Keto & IF where I've met my weight loss goal. -36 pounds. I feel great and look great. I don't need or want to lose more weight. I'd like to maintain the weight and raise my caloric and macros for slowing weight loss so I can focus on IF and autophagy. Will you produce some videos that address this? Your techniques work, and I'm living proof. Now to maintain & work on autophagy with less weight loss. THANK YOU ❤
