Another method the VA will do is deception and misdirection of your claim to the point of reducing it or closing it entirely. I've had to deal with them 3 times having to pull schemes like this. Then, I have to file a formal complaint with the secretary of the VA in Washington. I've had to hire CCK for the past 5 years in order to get what I needed and entitled to

I was encouraged to apply for VA benefits in May 1999. I called the VA and they told me to apply for non sevice connected compensation. It was denied. I appealed. It was denied. The case went down to DC. I had a great lawyer. We got the remand. The DAV said it should go through. It was denied. Years later, I talked to someone from the VA. She strongly encouraged me to apply for service connected benefits. I applied. I signed release of information paperwork allowing all medical or in this case psychiatric records to be sent to the VA. With time, I was denied. I appealed then I was denied again. The VA has all necessary information to show that I'm a veteran. In 2019 I made my last call. I was told that just by looking at part of my file that I was a veteran. In October 1993, I experienced a nervous breakdown. I was locked up in a state hospital. A social worker told me that I was diagnosed with mental illness. He told me that I had to take medication and see doctors for the rest of my life. If I told you that I served with special forces for a long time ( before and after the breakdown. ) Would you believe me or would you say that I am delusional? Can you feel my pain or is it just me??

In 2011 I was told I should try for VA Pension. I filled out paper work and Pension started almost immediately. Approximately three months ago, they said they were stopping payments do to overpayment. Just last week, I was billed for over payment of $195000. My only income now is from SS. How am I going to pay that grand total back.

Can you lose your benefits if you get a misdemeanor or felony? When I googled the question it says you can if you receive a felony and jail time for 60 days.

How about a video on how or what rights or what can be done about the VA taking years to approve our claims. It appears the VA is more interested in how to revoke or denied claims and benefits due or owed.
