You said something that hit home with me. "Be present with my family". As a disabled veteran myself, being in pain 24/7 really puts you in a bad place. Not just physically, but mentally as well. Depression puts you in another place. You may be physically with your family but not present. Thanks for reminding me of what's important in life!

I have been 100% since 2005. I am over 55 years old and I get left alone 99% of the time. If I have another issue I call my local Senator's office and I file a complaint with the VA officer's who work in every Senator's office. They can have issues resolved in as little as three days. Once the VA plays with your Senator's office they leave you alone.

I appreciate that you encouraged veterans to use their healthcare. There are some veterans who are far too paranoid and really should take advantage of the care that is available to them and stop worrying about the VA robbing them of their ratings. I have done years worth of therapy and it has helped me to enjoy life much more than before.

I was 60% VA disabled for years until one of my disabilities nearly killed me. This new service connected disability is 100% on IRS own, so my combined P&T is 160%. Not a lot more, but the SMC helps.

Great message. Particularly, any action that can open a veteran up to reading change; if your evidence is airtight and you merit that consideration then it's worth going for it.

Thank you! Good information you gave us here. I am 100% P&T and I have an upcoming appointment for the PACT Act. Why are some veterans are afraid to claim this act? My father was a Vietnam veteran and was exposed to agent orange. I was born in Thailand. This appointment will be very interesting and a bonus lesson to be able to inform fellow veterans.

Don't forget CRSC pay for anyone who medically retired or regular retired and got injured while deployed. Your injury while deployed can pay extra if you retired.

I’ve been 💯 percent P&T for over 10 years now, and I agree with you absolutely about going after SMC’s if you qualify for them . Thanks for sharing that’s great information to share with others✌🏾.

Absolutely correct. ✅ being present and being healthy enough to actually enjoy your retirement or life after the military is the #1 thing. 🎤

I’ve had my 100% rating for a year and was never told what extra benefits I’m entitled to. My rating is permanent. I caught the part where you said that I’m not going to have to pay property tax and I just heard that I don’t have to pay for a fishing or hunting license but that’s about all I know. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me out with whatever else I’m entitled to. Thx brother
