Ive watch 100 videos and nothing has helped but i finally figured it out it was the windows security slowing it down and doing it. Open windows security
App & browser control.
Reputation-based protection settings.
Turn off check apps and files.

Press Disk drives

Right-click your drive -> Properties

Under Policies, Un-check "Enable write caching on the device" Worked for me, hope it works for you

I have literally tried every goddamn fix that I found on the internet including redownloading and reinstalling steam. None of it works. Gaben needs to update his servers fr cause I do NOT believe this is a user side problem anymore.

I have it downloaded on steam 40mb but my internet speed test on pc in website show 500mb
