!ATTENTION!

Sometimes you are downloading things FASTER than your Disk can write stuff to your drive.

Try limiting your download speed to 20mbs or even 10mbs in your steam settings!

While it may not be as fast as your internet allows, it will download the game at a consistent rate rather than shooting up to 50+mbs for a few second and dropping down to zero!

I have a 500mbs speed internet and this is what I unfortunately have to do until I upgrade my PC

There is a Win 10 & 11 bug that limits download and upload. This is what worked for me. I spent hours researching what to do, and just copy and paste this in command prompt one line at a time, and it WILL fix it if you had the same windows bug that I had. (You might have to enter it again after a couple updates. Apparently windows still doesn’t realize it yet…)
NETWORK FIX Win 10 & 11
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew and press Enter. (This will stall for a moment.)
netsh int ip reset and press Enter. (Don't restart yet.)
netsh winsock reset
netsh interface tcp show global
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal

I WAS 75 PERCENT DONE OF DOWNLOADING A 100 GIGABYTE GAME AND YOU RESET IT

Right click on windows. Go to device manager. Double click network adapters to bring the drop down. Go through all of those and right click on properties. Go to advanced and look for speed and duplex. Change the value to 1.0 full duplex and press ok. Just did it and now I’m back to 936 mbps. I’m erect as I’m typing this

My issue is that my other laptops and other devices work fine but on my pc i dont see all those options your seeing in the advanced tab and i get pretty good ping in games and stuff but my download and upload speed it terrible my laptop gets around 300mb speed but my pc only gets 40mb ive had this issue before but somehow i was able to fix it and it was getting a normal speed of 250 to 300+ but when i took out the pc attena and put it back i guess the setting i had changed back then reverted to default i hope you help me on this i would really appreciate it because i have been trying to fix this issue for days! thx.
