you will literally throttle your pc. if you put Speed and Duplex at the max which would be 1.0GB, just don't do it, or in general don't put it as any type of speed. it will reduce your ping, make sure to put this as Auto Negotiation, then anything wake related, disable it. if you have green ethernet or energy efficient ethernet, turn them off. it will give you a slower connection in general, if you have Enable PME, turn that off as well, if you have flow control, make sure its either on Disabled or Auto Negotiation, for some people it works better on either of those, then go to Power Management tab at the top and make sure all check boxes are UN-checked, that's the best settings you could possibly get for ping and speed, And stop botting your comments.
