Nice car but I don’t like the back. And why do they hide the exhausts on a r line? It doesn’t make sense. This car doesn’t look aggressive for a r line in my opinion

VW needs to take notes from Suzuki and offer their trims as packages. Not purchases where some things are options and some things are not. Each trim should come with a set a features as standard, and all included according to the trim. We can't be out here driving a top spec like an R-line but it doesn't have a wireless charging pad cause it was an option. Now that's just ridiculous😂

I'm in the market to purchase this exact 1.4 TSI R-Line version. However, I have to agree, the optional extras that I have just specced this vehicle comes to an additional R126 000!!! Unless my dealer will offer some assistance, I'm keeping my Polo :)

It's overpriced for what you're getting. They should add more equipment as standard at this starting price. The interior also looks cheap. That large expanse of plastic around the front guages look wierd.

It's such a beautiful car bro, but yeah I agree with you with the pricing issue there. And we know that VW will somewhere somehow, unprovoked and without prior warning and out of nowhere just add another R70k 😂😂 (and jiki-jiki we have a whole new price)

Vw, Audi, Mercedes, Bmw, Hyundai, KIA, Ford and Toyota should look at their pricing otherwise they will go extinct. The Chinese have arrived and they will take the market with affordable cheap alternatives.

Yeah if I had the money I’d go for the previous model. I’ve driven it before and it felt and looks very premium. It’s a Haval this thing on the inside and like most brands these days, they care about production cuts (less buttons) and it’s going to be expensive to maintain in the long run. Again, the previous model is my pick. ✅

I'm glad you mentioned the optional features issue, because that is the downfall of VW actually. My question is to VW how do they position themself to the car market price? Because they price their cars as premium with optional extras like their stable brand Audi, Porche, Bently in that you will pay to every feature they include, and that makes their cars not to really affordable and works against them cause their competitor price it as a package.
