SAUTEED BROCCOLI RECIPE
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 cups broccoli florets, (1 head of broccoli)
4-6 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 cup water
salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat olive oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add in the garlic with a pinch of salt and saute until fragrant (about 30-60 seconds).
Add broccoli to the pan, season with salt and pepper and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add in 1/4 cup of water, pop on the lid and cook for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender. Remove the lid and cook until any extra water has evaporated out of the pan.

Adjust seasonings, serve and enjoy!

Sauteed broccoli is one of my favorite ways to enjoy this nutritious green! It's so simple to make and fairly addictive! There are so many ways to enjoy it. I love adding it to eggs and frittatas - but it's also great as a side dish. I hope you enjoy it. XO-Dani

Thank you Dani! I also like your popcorn brokkoli! Here is another delicious, quick, and easy way to enjoy the brokkoli stems: just grate them in a bowl, add salt, pepper, a splash of olive oil and a splash of vinager. Cut 2 or 3 dried figs into small pieces and add them as well. Mix well and let it sit for 15 minutes - a very delicious salad! It is already very tasty without the figs but they give a little additional kick. :-)))
