As a video editor, I can see that people are overthinking this trippy effect. The simple answer is that you are writing normally on a glass and then flipping the video post production. You're a genius in math and video art. keep up the good work;)

A lot of you have never talked to a girl before and it shows

"Teach a man to fish, he does his trig homework" best quote I've ever heard.

She’s so awkward but in a really endearing way 😂 Love her!

If you want to know how she does it (I'm like 99% sure):

She records the video and writes regularly on the glass (for her perspective). This, of course, means the writing will be flipped for the camera. So she just flips the video in post.

She writes on glass, then mirrors it. 😜 Linear Algebra taught me that. 😂

Hint about Nancy writing backwards: She's right-handed.

I won't lie, sometimes I just watch her math videos for fun, they're calming lol

The "trick" is: She writes normally on the glass and then, on the edition tool, she/the editor flips the video horizontally.

I've watched many good instruction videos on subjects, but you have a profound quality for relating intimidating subject material very well. You inspire....
Thanks for the help.

Thanks for you content, girl. I remember about 2 to 3 years ago, I’d always watch your videos whenever I was confused about concepts in calculus. You made things make much more sense! Thank you!

Fun video, Nancy! Great advice about MIT (and challenging colleges in general). If you don't get in by doing your best and following your genuine interests - if you get in by somehow "gaming the system" - you're going to have an AWFUL time. For some people, MIT/Caltech/Yale/Harvard etc. is a good fit. But if it doesn't happen, that's okay too. We are so lucky that there are SOOO many good schools here in the US. There's a decent match for everyone who wants to go to college. Oh, and maybe consider working for a few years first so you are really motivated and know why you're getting your degree...

Nancy is right-handed (it shows in this video), just as a hint to the "magic writing trick". But her videos are magically calming me and refreshing my math knowledge. Cherry on the cake, you are a very symetric woman (maths can compliment and express beauty too I guess). Thank you for all that Nancy. 😉

Thank you for being so clear in speech and thought! I found you because I need to brush-up on my math. My 9-yr old daughter is very good with math and we constantly do skills that are far beyond 4th grade. We are just now starting quadratic expressions. I like that I can show her videos of a young woman doing math!
